Bayford’s very own ‘Marathon Man’, Norman Ruddock ran another gruelling 26.2 mile race recently, by completing the Paris Marathon.

Norman, Bayford’s Operations Manager ran the distance in a very respectable time of four hours and nine minutes, which was just outside his personal best. However, Norman’s achievement did not stop there. Not content with getting over the finish line, Norman also raised over £1500 for Bayford’s adopted charity Cancer Research UK by completing the course.

Norman commenting on the run said, “Marathons are always tough work, but it was well worth it when you see the amount of money that’s been raised for Cancer Research.”

Bayford’s employees have raised over £6000 for Cancer Research UK in less than a year.
