Bayford Introduces Seven New Tankers to its Vehicle Fleet
Bayford & Co Ltd has introduced seven new tankers to its vehicle fleet.
The new Volvo tankers, including four, six and eight wheelers, will bring benefits to both Bayford and its customers, thanks to improved reliability and better fuel economy and will also reduce the impact of fuel deliveries on the environment.
The new tankers have all been fitted with the latest pump control technology, which enable the driver to control the start and stop of the flow, from up to 200 feet away. As well as being more convenient for the driver, this new system helps to reduce the risk of spillages.
Norman Ruddock, Bayford's Operations Manager said of the investment, "The innovations on these tankers will make a difference to our drivers and our customers. We are introducing the new tankers into service between September and November and this will help us shorten delivery times over the busy winter period."
