Free oil for Bayford Charity
The Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice recently opened its doors to children and families throughout South Yorkshire and the North Midlands suffering from life threatening and life limiting conditions. Relying on the general public for the majority of their funding, Bayford Oil has stepped in, sponsoring 500 litres of gas oil to help fill the Hospice’s generator for the coming winter.
“It has always been a priority for Bayford Oil to build strong relationships with our customers and fuel the local community by getting involved with and sponsoring charities like Bluebell Wood,” commented Bronwyn Moran, Bayford Oil marketing assistant. “As a family-run business from Yorkshire, we’re always keen to be involved with local projects.”
Greg Oldfield, Director of Fundraising at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, said of the sponsorship, “We are delighted that Bayford Oil has donated 500 litres of gas oil which will fuel our emergency generator. Obviously it is vital to make sure the generator is available at all times – with Bayford Oil’s help we are able to do this and we are very grateful for their continued and committed support. This help comes at such a crucial time, as we opened the Hospice for residential care on 19 September but every year we need to raise £2.4 million to run the Hospice and provide the vital support for local children and their families,”
